#015 This episode I'm chatting about 5 different things you can do to produce a better cello sound. Remember to keep your ears listening and assessing what is coming out of the cello. It is too easy to go on auto-pilot. Try different things since every cello will be a little different.

  • There are only 3.5 positions
    2023/03/07

Send me a text here :)

#013 Today I'm talking about how there are really only 3.5 positions on the cello that you need to worry about. At the end of the day it is more about finding where the note is and fingerboard geography more than "what position am I in".? Hopefully this can help you simplify learning notes on the cello.

  • Check Your Instrument
    2023/02/28

Send me a text here :)

#012 At least once a year it is always good to take a look at your instrument and check to see that things are in good working order. Also, check how you are storing your instrument and the environment that it is in most of the time. These things can help maintain your instrument to always produce the best sound that it can. Hopefully these tips help you! Let me know if there are any other things to check that I missed in this episode.

#011 It's back to school season~ or should I say back to practice season?! We are all coming back to seasons of gung-ho practicing but I wanted to talk about a few things that will help keep your momentum going. Trust me, I've been there where you are all excited to get back into something then after a few days the sparkle-newness goes away and it becomes a drudgery. Let me know if YOU have some tips of how to get back into the practicing groove that I haven't mentioned in this episode.
