In this episode you hear from Chief Economist Nasser Saidi about Lebanon’s crisis and the steps needed to fix it. He shows how overhauling banks as well as creating a national wealth fund can rebuild public trust. The country actually has a real chance to recover.
Nasser Saidi is the Founder and President of Nasser Saidi & Associates. Former roles include Executive Director of Hawkamah, The Institute for Corporate Governance as well as the Minister of Economy and Trade between 1998-2000. He was also the first Vice-Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL) for two successive mandates.
