    Byron was a gem from start to finish, but really, isn't everyone who is on this show really spectacular? (You don't have to answer that, just nod your head and smile!) But Byron really is beyond fabulous...not only did he overcome a life-long stutter that had him hiding in office jobs, he is also hard at work trying to parse out the meaning of life-through all that he does, in his philosophical work, his hypnotherapy, his writing...pretty much everywhere Byron goes, he is trying to figure out JUST WHY EVERYTHING EXISTS! And we do talk a little bit about that, but truly, it is his miracle story that is particularly enchanting...HINT: It's all about CHOICES, or is it MISTAKES, or is it STUBBORNNESS, (you're just gonna have to listen!)

    Your bit of beauty after this very devastating week (the news has all been grim) is something simple, this opening scene from the movie "Love Actually" where we see strangers greeting their loved ones at the airport. The amount of care, of feeling and of just insane LOVE in this clip heals my soul each and every time. It helps however, to get on the right plane, though, so you can actually get to the right airport, so that you can, indeed, give great big hugs when you arrive!

    Amara Palmer is here everyone, and she has a story to tell! It's about Beauty, it's about Bravery, it's about being confronted by something you have no plan for, and what you do with all that afterwards. It's about being human and trying to integrate, and trying to understand something so huge it defies description! It's about so much, but you'll just have to listen, dear ones, to kind of "get" what I'm saying!

    Whew!

    It's not often I have a guest come on who tries to define the sublime, the ephemeral, that for which words have absolutely no meaning...I mean, we try, we try so very hard to describe these things, but we always, always fail!

    You know who doesn't fail? Amara! Because she is the ultimate badass, who is, everyday, going into the trenches to help us understand ourselves, the world and those mysterious glimpses some of us have had, behind the mystery that is this Universe.     Ronika is a powerhouse, everyone, and not only because she is doing ground breaking work in Ireland, changing people's lives, but also because she never quits!

    We met through another podcaster and the first time we hung out over Zoom she was in her car...and I come to find out that she, like me, at the time, was house-less and on the road, going from one place to another. Well, needless to say, that did a whole lot to cement our bond, and helped me to understand her resilience. (but more on resilience and Ronika's thoughts on that trait in the episode!) But the more we hung out, the more we got to know one another, I began to understand just what a GEM she is, how driven she is, and how committed she is to making all of her dreams come true! And her miracle? Let's just say it happened when she most needed it...and thank goodness for that!

    There is no byte-sized episode this week because I really feel like all of you must listen to this one in it's entirety. xoxo

    The work that Reverend Jaime is doing is so needed and so essential right now, because it not only speaks to those animals and insects that she advocates for, it also can apply to the land that we walk upon. With the government attempting to sell our public lands to the highest bidder, it is about time that we begin to look around and realize that everything around us has spirit, is sacred, and needs us to advocate for it's existence! And that is what my friend Rev. Jaime is doing through her work as the "Creature Preacher" with her voice, with her books, with her words...she is urging us all to do better, but ALSO, to SEE that all life, that everything around us, deserves respect, honor and a listening ear. Because that life is endlessly trying to engage with us, to enter into conversation with us, and brings us along, as partners, to this magical and mysterious dance that is unfolding around us!
