Who's ready for steamy love affairs that end murder, whether or not they involve President McKinley's brother? (Good news! One of them does!)
We are celebrating our recent Crime Battle champion, Crime Capsule, by devoting this week to the show. Here, we recap two recent pairs of episodes. On Friday, we'll share in interview we did with host Ben Morris.
The stories we recap today are filled with drama:
- First, we discuss Murder in Stark County, Ohio: An Interview with author Kim Kenney. In 1898, George Saxton (who happens to be President McKinley's brother-in-law) is shot dead outside his lover's house and... the town seems to be glad he's dead.
- Second, we discuss Richmond Murder & Mayhem: An Interview with author Selden Richardson. In 1927, John Wesley Faison, husband to Martha and parent of five, begins an open affair with "epitome of womanhood" Elsie Snipes. So how does Snipes end up dead?
