Last Thursday, we received a threatening email from Freedom Magazine—Scientology's propaganda arm—attempting to intimidate us over a business we closed in 2014. The email exemplifies how Scientology operates: they monitor former members indefinitely, collect information through sophisticated skip-tracing software, and deploy intimidation tactics targeting livelihoods and relationships. We've witnessed friends being shown "dossiers" about us and given ultimatums—cut ties with the Headleys or lose access to Scientologist family members. This emotional blackmail keeps many former members silent, while others like us continue documenting these harassment campaigns.

During our combined 29 years inside, we observed how Scientology transforms members into productive "machines" while isolating them within an ecosystem of control. Upon leaving, we discovered how the organization plants spies, dispatches private investigators to follow former members, and interferes with businesses to create economic hardship. Most chillingly, we've confirmed that nothing happens within the Office of Special Affairs without David Miscavige's direct approval—making him personally responsible for these ongoing tactics.
