In today’s Casual Conversation, the hosts Deep Dive into Black Culture’s effects on the Black Man.

The episode starts with a debate on the current state of the modern black family, the lack of patriarchal presence in the home, and which party the hosts deem responsible. OG opens a discussion on whether the mother or father holds more responsibility, and things get interesting from the JUMP! The conversation then shifts to the Reality Rehab segment. Here, Ressie and OG dissect some of the men from Love and HipHop and analyze not only how their presence on reality television has impacted the posturing of the black men who watch, but also the effects this level of fame has impacted them as men, as well as their families. The hosts then Dive DEEP into Black Culture as an archetype, the foundations on which it was built, from hiphop to racism, and the responsibilities of today’s black people and the roles reclaiming of stereotypes has had over their own perception in society as a generalized culture.
