Have you ever felt distant from God? As believers living the life as a Child of God can seem scary and difficult. Tune in today as we talk about a few reasons people can drift away from their faith and some tips on how we can bounce back better than ever.

This is a start of new series called the teaching series. I thought it would be intesting to talk to you about some of the teachings in Matthew to help give you guys a better understanding and to even help myself in a way as well. In this teaching we are told that we are the salt and the light of the earth. As believers we should be able to help change and affect the world by shining our light on others to know what it means to be a follower of Jesus. It is important for us to stand out and not to blend in with the rest of the people of the world. We can help make a change to bring more people to Jesus!

Hey guys! These past few months that I've had have truly been the best months I've had in a while. God has done so much work in my life and because of him I have been blessed enough to have many of the wonderful things that I have prayed for. Throughout my journey prayer has been one of my biggest things and it can be more beneficial than we know it, even if things don't happen overnight. We just have to be patient and trust that God will not let us down. All because of God I can definitely say that he has truly changed my life, and he can change yours too!

As a believer I know it can be difficult at times to follow God, or we may not know what to do. One of the most important keys to following God is stay in scriptures. His word guides us and can give us the wisdom to follow him and do what is right. I won't say that it's going to be easy but if we choose to have the right mindset and keep our eye on God and his truth then he will give us his strength to be able to follow him how he intended us to.

When becoming a believer in Christ you become transformed. Along with that transformation the Holy Spirit begins to work in you with the fruits of the spirit. These fruits show who you are in Christ and if you are who you say you are.

How do we expect to be like Jesus when we don't think about others or try to help others?

Why is it so hard for us to put people before ourselves but always want people to do that for us?

Continuing on from last weeks episode I wanted to share one of the most difficult stories in my relationship. I am not perfect what so ever and I have made mistakes but I truly felt that sharing this story with you guys from before I got saved to after can encourage you guys to know that if God can heal me from all the pain, and deliever me from the things I dealt with and struggled with he can heal you as well. Confession and repentence was KEY throughout this whole process. Even though God sees everything we do, we need to confess to him and ask him for forgiveness.
