Love triangles never end well. They're messy and someone always ends up hurt or in this case, dead. More specifically, brutally murdered.

Ezra McCandless struggled with her identity and wasn't sure who she was. What she was certain of is that she loved to be the center of attention. She also loved her boyfriend, but not enough to stop screwing another man on the side. Until she was caught and her life was flipped upside down.

Ezra would do anything to get back with the man she loved. Even concoct an absolutely terrible plan that ended in the horrific murder of a gentle and innocent man.

At the age of 15, Mary Vincent ran away from home and hitchhiked across California. Exhausted and alone, she just wanted to get to her grandfathers home outside of L.A. That's when a blue van pulled up and offered her a lift. This would prove to be the longest ride of her life. The man who picked up Mary had something awful planned for her.

The story spans from 1978 to 2001 and details flaws in the justice system, a tragic death, and the resiliency of a young girl who over came extreme odds.

14 year old Sandy Charles dreamed of flying. He also heard voices and was obsessed with an 80's horror movie called Warlock. Sandy didn't have friends his own age, so he hung out with a 7 year old boy named William Martin.
One day, Sandy approached William with a sinister idea and the two boys decided to turn the idea into reality.
7 year old Johnathan Thimpsen was reported missing in July of 1995. Police begin to investigate and a search party is formed. Witnesses remember seeing Johnathan playing with two neighborhood boys: Sandy Charles and William Martin.
What happened next is a cruel and ruthless crime that shocked the northern town of La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

When Jeane Newmaker adopted Candace she finally had the daughter she always wanted, but there were problems. Candace experienced abuse and neglect from her biological parents and to make matters worse, the foster care system separated Candace from her siblings. 
Jeane became frustrated that Candace wouldn't connect with her and that the 10 year old girl was angry all the time, so she tried therapy and mood altering drugs. When that didn't work, Jeane was referred to therapists in Evergreen, Colorado who used attachment therapy techniques called "rebirthing."
What happened next was cruel, degrading, and ultimately, criminal.
Buckle up for this episode, folks. It's a sad and frustrating case.

On a beautiful summer day in 1899, Mary Lane was hanging curtains in the parlor while her children were having a tea party outside. The families domestic servant, Hilda Blake, witnessed the cold blooded murder. She claimed an angry drifter shot Mary because she wouldn't give him food. The city of Brandon demands vengeance. They want the tramp who killed Mary Lane brought to justice, so they form vigilante groups that patrol the city, roughing up immigrants and anyone else who doesn't belong.

Kimberly Cargill had a history of violence and an explosive temper.  Everyone who knew her said she was only sweet and innocent when she needed to be. She physically and emotionally hurt her children, husbands, mother, teachers and friends. 
So, it's no big surprise that Child Protective Services found out about the abuse and removed the children from the home. Shortly before the custody hearing, Kimberly found out her developmentally disabled babysitter, Cherry Walker, was subpoenaed to testify against her. 
In Kimberly's mind, the babysitter would "ruin everything" and she would do anything to prevent her testimony.

What happens next is a cruel and senseless crime that is guaranteed to anger the blood, so sit down, take a deep breathe, and brace yourself for this episode.

Where do we go when we die? 

No one really knows, but hopefully our physical body doesn't end up in a human chop shop. Some people donate their own body or a loved one's body to science in order to further medical research and knowledge. 
The problem is, human cadavers are now a commodity business and non-transplant tissue donors thrive in an unregulated market with very few laws. Body parts are dissected and often sold against the donor's wishes for military experiments and other non-medical purposes. And sometimes, these parts are forgotten in freezers or left to rot in plastic containers.
