Beauty. This is something we all want to achieve. We become obsessed with the beauty ideal. It’s about a culture “saturated with the perfect,” in which women are taught to seek an impossible physical ideal, and men to worship it. Even throughout history, beauty has always been important, and the question of what to consider "beauty" has changed drastically over the years.
In this episode, I’ll explore how beauty has changed during history and the unattainable standards of beauty for today's women. I’ll also talk about how the pursuit of being beautiful has harmful effects on women, and the reaction of two women who came against the beauty standards of society.
