When the enemy comes in, like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

In Zechariah 2:8, God calls His people “the apple of His eye,” a phrase that refers to the pupil, one of the most sensitive parts of the body. The eye has a reflex that instantly protects it from any harm—blinking or watering to block and flush out anything that tries to touch it.

God acts as a shield for His people, moving swiftly to defend and protect us when the enemy threatens harm. Just as the eye can be "touched" by dust, harsh light, or injury, our lives can face spiritual attacks. But God’s declaration in Zechariah reminds us that any attack against us is taken personally by Him.

In Christ, you are God-protected, shielded even in the midst of danger. In this Year of the Chainbreaker, no weapon formed against you can prosper because God, your Defender, stands guard, always ready to block any attack.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I decree and declare that I am the apple of God’s eye, protected and shielded from every attack. When the enemy comes in, like a mighty rushing flood, the Spirit of the Lord responds as an unstoppable force to repel the enemy’s advance. No harm can touch me without God’s swift response, for I am guarded by the Lord of Hosts, my Unbreakable Defender! Devil, you are blocked!
