We reach Ohkay City after watching a "Bad Guys" short film about a funny series of calamities as they try to go to a parole office meeting. Officer Knight and his faithful canine companion Greg are combating criminals and rescuing lives when a bomb detonates, gravely wounding them both. In the operating area, a nurse explains that attaching the dog's head to the man's torso is the only method to save them both.
