  • Snoek & Garrick Are Wild - KZN REPORT (3 July '25)
    2025/07/03
This week, it’s once again pure fishing mayhem! The sardine run continues with shoals in abundance and the snoek are hitting like heat-seeking missiles across KZN’s coast. From Port Edward to Richards Bay, it’s total chaos. Garrick, GTs, kingfish, bronze bream, and even some kob and stumpies are lighting up the beaches.
The South Coast is the crown jewel right now, delivering non-stop action, while the North is a little quieter but still producing. Offshore? It’s the trifecta: tuna, couta, and snoek. As for the Freshwater anglers, don't feel left out – 200 trout landed in the Stillwaters this past weekend show there's magic happening inland too.
It’s carnage. It’s bliss. It’s going to be one of the best fishing weekends of the season. So load up early, cast hard, strike fast, and listen now to get into this weeks strike zones. Vinesh's website
