A Yorkshireman living in London Bob Knight began playing drums at 6 years old. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music’s jazz performance course he is best known for his work in the popular music scene. Bob is available to record in his purpose built studio, located in West London. You can attend the session or send the files and leave him to it. It’s an 8×8 meter purpose built, acoustically treated haven of drums. And drums. And drums. And cymbals too.

Oli is a Guitarist, Keyboard player, Music Producer, Arranger and MD from the UK, working internationally with artists and in theatres around the West End.

Artists he has performed alongside include: Nile Rodgers, Take That, Giorgio Moroder, Marc Almond, Boyzone, Westlife, Steps, Atomic Kitten, The Sugababes, Rag'n'Bone Man and many more.

Ollie Haycock is a London based guitarist and teacher.

Ollie’s credits include bands and artists such as, Lola Young, Laura White, Donae’o, Rosa Cecilia, The Kubricks and DOJO.

He has performed and toured across the UK and Europe playing venues such as the O2, KOKO Camden,Ronnie Scotts and Melkweg, and has played numerous festivals including Glastonbury, WOMAD & Way Out West.

Ollie has taught guitar for the last decade and continues to teach privately in person and online.
Alongside this he writes and creates teaching content for YouTube.

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Adam has since worked on many projects including sessions and house bands (American Idol, The Voice UK, Britain’s Got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing), gigs and recording with artists from Gloria Estefan to Little Mix, Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating, Elton John, and many others.

He has also played on many Hollywood movie soundtracks including Bridget Jones baby, Paddington 2, The Hobbit, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Mary Poppins returns, Les Miserables, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

He has also spent twenty years playing in West End show orchestras and played with pretty much every national orchestra such as the BBC Symphony, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, the BBC Concert Orchestra, and many others.

Episode 50 sees us with a very special guest. New York based Jazz Guitarist Adam Levy.

To call Adam Levy a "well-traveled musician" would be a hell of an understatement. During a six-year stint touring as a member of Norah Jones' Handsome Band, Levy went round the world several times and maxed out the pages of his passport and then a second one with country stamps and visas. He first played with Jones at the very beginning of the singer's career and went on to be the featured electric guitarist on her wildly successful first three albums and DVDs. Levy held the enviable gig through 2007, ultimately leaving to follow his own path as a performing songwriter.

Pete Friesen was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. While still playing under the name "Pete Freezin'", he was a member of VO5 with a pre-Skid Row Sebastian Bach. He was a member of Alice Cooper's band from 1989–1991, 1998–2000 and 2002. He played on both the Trash and Hey Stoopid tours, and also appears in the film Wayne's World alongside Cooper, where he memorably asked the question "In fact, isn't Milwaukee an Indian name?"

Friesen left Cooper's band in 1992 and moved to the UK to join Scottish rock band The Almighty. He recorded and toured with the band from 1992 until 1996. The band recorded the top 5 album Powertrippin for Polydor, and Crank and Just Add Life for Chrysalis/EMI records. They opened up Donington festival in 1992 and the following year supported Metallica at Milton Keynes Bowl. They did several headline tours through the UK, as well as tours in Europe, Japan, Australia, U.S.A., and South America. They disbanded in 1996, but the lineup featuring Friesen reformed in January 2006 to play two shows to raise money for leukemia research. These were followed by a couple of short UK tours in 2007 and 2008. A live DVD of the London show from the 2008 and tour has been released.[1]

In 2002, Friesen also did a short stint playing guitar for Iron Maiden's vocalist Bruce Dickinson's solo band; they did a string of summer festival dates throughout Europe. Pete has recorded library music for London based company Brilliant Music. From 2014 to 2016 Pete played guitar in the Ray Davies/Kinks musical "Sunny Afternoon", which ran at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End.
