Welcome to the very first episode of You Got a Minute, the podcast where work and life are up for honest conversation. We’re Lizzie and Amanda: married co-founders of A Better Monday, facilitators, coaches, and people who’ve spent our careers knee-deep in the very real (and often ridiculous) realities of workplace culture.
In this episode, we’re pulling back the curtain on how we got here - from our very different career paths to what made us say, “Yeah, let’s run a business together and start a podcast.” We talk about what it’s really like to build something as partners in life and work, what we’ve learned about leadership, burnout, being the boss and being human, and why we believe Mondays don’t have to suck.
