John 14:13-14 (KJV)
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
The beauty in today's scripture is found in its deeper meaning. When it says 'ask,' it does not mean praying for God to act. Instead, it means to require, request, receive, or demand what you desire to take place! When you're facing sickness, do not fret; say, "In the Name of Jesus, I claim my healing." Or when you're lacking finances, do not cry like the unbelievers. Instead, say, "In the Name of Jesus, I receive my riches!"
Just as a child confidently approaches their parents to ask for the newest toy in a shop window without fear of denial, approach God and claim whatever you need. He's more loving and capable than even the most devoted and experienced parent. God wants to help you; all you have to do is ask.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I claim restoration in every area of my life, for God has richly given me all things to enjoy. I decree and declare that I walk in divine provision and perfect health. By the authority of Jesus' Name, I command every need in my life to be met and every godly desire to be fulfilled! Amen!
