The show focuses on the legacy of David Barns who sadly passed away at the age of 30. He spent his life dedicated to the kids that were following in his footsteps at all levels of basketball. David’s legacy that lives on based on the efforts of so many people in the community.

Two of this Ambassadors are Tony Johnson and John Strong. John has the David Barns Showcase coming up on 8/17. This is a national showcase tournament and an opportunity foir high schoolers to speak directly from local coaches and showcase their basketball talent!

Tony played for Coach Barns and also with David. His life has been impacted by them both and he now gives back with his hard with with the David Barns Classic. Tony manages the 5 player tournament with the championship game being played at Little Ceasar’s Arena in Detroit.

Broadcasting LIVE from The CT Lounge, the fellas had 2 Very Special Guests on the show, Dr. John Pedersen and Drake Toms!

Born in Detroit, Michigan, 1964. Dr. John Pedersen has more than 18 years experience as a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. John is widely published in peer-reviewed journals, covering many topics in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

And, John is a mentor for Drake Toms, the son of CT. Drake worked in John’s office in Akron, Ohio and he shared some amazing advice for Drake as he heads off to Medical School in Indianapolis, this week.

John drove his new Tesla Cybertruck to The CT Lounge for the interview, all the way from Akron, Ohio! John is also a Pilot and shared many great stories and experiences of flying around the country and also internationally. And, John took the fellas for a ride in his Tesla Cybertruck. Rich compared that ride to the Top Thrill Dragster ride at Cedar Point!
