Austin R Shifrin has been an active member of the Freemasons in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania since 2006. He joined an optional branch, the Scottish Rite, and began writing for their local magazine in 2014. In the past 3 years, he has published two books on Freemasonry and traveled in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and New York speaking to audiences about the principles, philosophy, and history of the fraternity.
