This week I am joined by Emz or Emily of the Kowhai Fan Fest, happening here in Christchurch on the 18th of January 2025! Emz wears many hats for the fest, but her skills are predominantly in marketing, branding and comms. As we learnt over the course of this conversation she and I actually had a very similar career up until recently as she also studied Graphic Design and worked for many cool places, and lived in Japan for a bit. We talked a lot about what makes the Kowhai Fan Fest unique, what their ethos or kaupapa is and what people can expect from the 2025 fest. Emily's a really driven and lovely person, so I think you'll enjoy this one!
