    NRL master coach Wayne Bennett has laughed off suggestions he’s feeling the heat at Souths. Battling a nightmare injury toll, the Rabbitohs have lost six matches in a row, but 75 year-old Bennett says he’s impervious to pressure. The Rabbitohs take on the Panthers on Friday night.

    Nick Champion de Crespigny will debut for the Wallabies in the first Test against the British and Irish Lions in Brisbane on Saturday night. The 29 year-old flanker replaced the axed Langi Gleeson. Key big men Will Skelton and Rob Valentini were both ruled out due to injury.

    Australia bowled the West Indies out for just 27 – the second lowest total in Test history – to record a crushing 176-run win in the Third Test in Jamaica. Scott Boland took a hat-trick while Mitchell Starc had figures of 6 for 9, as the tourists sealed a 3-nil series victory.

    North Melbourne ruck Tristan Xerri and Carlton midfielder Adam Cerra will head to the AFL Tribunal tonight to challenge their bans. Xerri was hit with a 3-game suspension for knocking out Melbourne’s Tom Sparrow, while Cerra was referred straight to the tribunal for colliding with an umpire for the fourth time in two years.

    The Bulldogs have recalled Lachie Galvin to start at halfback against the Dragons on Saturday night, dropping Toby Sexton. The Wests Tigers recruit missed out on last week’s clash with the Cowboys.
