Ultimately this show prompted an investigation by Tony Hall, the DG, and got me the sack. Two nervous breakdowns followed. It was awful at the time...but it actually helped my legend grow and I would do it almost exactly the same today, except for the bit I shouted. Sod it. I'd even do that. This shit has to be called out at every opportunity.
