このコンテンツについて
Wait.. what were we doing? Oh yeah, making a podcast about ADHD! In this episode, Jenna and Aly discuss in depth about what are the presentations (otherwise know as the 3 subtypes) of ADHD. This week your hosts have a more logical based conversation with a sprinkling of personal opinions and experiences to keep things spicy. Jenna and Aly start by talking about the breakdown of an ADHD diagnosis, the symptoms of the hyperactive/impulsive presentation, the symptoms of inattentive presentation, and the symptoms of combined presentation. They talk about their own presentations because Aly is diagnosed with combined and Jenna is… inattentive, maybe? The discussion includes why these breakdowns are important, how they can affect your outlook and treatment, as well as some studies done on their effects. This episode was supposed to include an alternative theory for the 3 breakdown buuuuuut, Jenna decided the conversation about the 7 types of ADD needed it’s own episode so tune in next time for part 2!
ADHD in women is real. In this episode, Aly and Jenna are excellent examples of this. They are two smart cookies, but they can be easily distracted and have a tendency to go on a tangent or two.. or three..
The tangents and distractions of the week include but are definitely not limited to:
- MLMs suck
- Jenna’s tropical paradise
- Offending danish people everywhere
- Butting into others conversations
- Aly’s a know it all smarty pants
- Jenna tells Aly she’s screwed
