Today, we’re heading to the west coast to visit Point Reyes National Seashore. We explore the remarkable tule elk, once believed to be extinct, the massive elephant seals, and the rich history of the seashore.
Junior Rangers are explorers, learning all about the park’s ecosystems, plants and animals, and how to protect nature. The Junior Ranger program is not just for kids!
(*Additions & Corrections: What is a group of elephant seals called? There are many names for a group of elephants seals including: a pack, a herd, a colony, a rookery, a bob, and a large group of females that surround an alpha and beta male are called a harem.)
