John McLelland is a distance education teacher and former social sciences head teacher. In 2000 he was awarded "Garden of the Year" by the Kogarah council.

Sophie Henry is a mother and community yoga teacher, taught by the renowned Nicole Walsh. In 2017 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a disabling neurological condition. Now Sophie's by-donation yoga classes focus on lunar energy and accessible movement for everyone to enjoy.
