She is a wisdom keeper for indigineous knowledge, an author and a keynote speaker specialized in ubuntu philosophy. Wakanyi just concluded a research fellowship at The New Institute in Hamburg and will soon be joining the Institute of Cultural Inquiry at Utrecht University as part of a newly launched Inclusive AI lab, where she will be adding voices of indigenous wisdom to AI.
