467: Staying Motivated and Moving Forward

  • サマリー

  • Life doesn’t always move in a straight line. Sometimes, we find ourselves in the messy middle—navigating change, uncertainty, and the in-between spaces where we’re not quite where we were, but not yet where we want to be.

In this episode of Muve Forward, I open up about my own life transition. I’ve faced big shifts recently—losing a steady job, building my activewear brand Muve Life, and trying to grow this podcast into something impactful. Some days, the weight of it feels overwhelming, but I’ve realized something powerful: it’s okay to not have it all figured out.

Here’s what I shared in this episode:

    1. Acknowledge Where You Are

It’s easy to look at other people’s highlight reels and feel behind. But life isn’t a race. If you’re in a transitional phase, take a moment to honor it. Growth doesn’t always feel comfortable—it feels messy, uncertain, and sometimes exhausting. But this is where transformation happens.

Ask yourself: What small step can I take today? Forward movement, even when it’s slow, still counts.

    2. Find Your Support Systems

When I felt stuck, I turned to tools and people who could help. I started leaning into resources like ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas and organize my thoughts, and I worked with a trauma therapist to explore the emotional blocks holding me back.

Sometimes, help comes in unexpected ways—friends, family, mentors, or even technology. The key is realizing that you don’t have to figure everything out alone. Reaching out for support doesn’t make you weak; it’s what allows you to move forward.

    3. Focus on Staying Motivated

Motivation isn’t something you “find” once and hold onto forever—it’s something you build through small, intentional steps. For me, this looks like:

    • Celebrating small wins. Every step forward matters, even if it feels tiny.
    • Remembering my 'why.' Why did I start Muve Life? Why did I launch this podcast? These questions keep me grounded and connected to my purpose.
    • Being kind to myself. Some days, rest is the most productive thing you can do.

If you’re in the middle of a transition right now, know this: you’re not alone. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be forward.

At the beginning of the episode, I also shared a little about my brand, Muve Life. If you’re looking for clothing that inspires you to move—physically, mentally, and emotionally—check us out. Movement isn’t just about fitness; it’s about showing up for yourself every day, and I want to help you do that in clothing that feels as good as it looks.
