  • Our guest today is none other than Coach Melina, a well-known and respected member of the UAE triathlon community. She's not just a phenomenal triathlete but also an inspiring coach, dedicated volunteer and most importantly a mother of three. With more than four full Ironman finishes under her belt and 21 completions of the 70.3 distance, she's a powerhouse in the triathlon world. Impressively, she's qualified for the World Championships three times.

    As a former swimmer, Coach Melina has not left her love for the water behind. She completed an ultra swim across Kalamata Bay, covering a staggering 30 kilometers, and earned a podium place in the 10k distance at the Oceanman World Finals.

    Currently, she leads BR’s youth academy program and coaches adult triathletes, from complete beginners to seasoned triathletes chasing World Championship qualifications.
