Greetings from the Lake of the Ozarks and the School of the Osage! This is Laura Hayes and you are listening to the Heritage Little Authors Podcast. Today our creative 2nd graders are ready to dive into some hilarious MadLib style stories.
For those who aren't familiar, MadLibs are fill-in-the-blank stories where you add nouns, verbs, adjectives, and other parts of speech without knowing the context. The result? Absolutely silly and laugh-out-loud tales that never fail to entertain. But! These stories have a unique spin in that they all have a theme of resilience. Our Osage word of the year.
Our young storytellers have been introduced to parts of speech, filled in the blanks, and now they're going to tell their zany creations aloud for the first time.
So sit back, relax, and prepare to giggle as we present today's episode: 2nd graders and their stories of resilience (MadLib style). Enjoy.
