サマリー
あらすじ・解説
Today, we’re heading to the Crater Lake National Park in southern Oregon; at just over 183,000 acres of protected land this place is a must see! This episode explores the creation and geological history of Crater Lake, the indigenous peoples who lived in the region, its flora and fauna, recreational activities available, regulations regarding boating and fishing, and some information about how we spent our time there. We also work through an activity from the Junior Ranger Program together.
Junior Rangers are explorers, learning all about the park’s ecosystems, plants and animals, and how to protect nature. The Junior Ranger program is not just for kids; it's for the young, and the young at heart!
