The reason for this episode is most people will decide it is time to partner with a financial advisor, however they may, unknowingly, partner with an investment manager when they are really looking for a financial planner. They are looking to get advice on all aspects of their financial life, yet they hire an investment manager who only focuses on the money they are managing. This can cause a negative experience with that person and financial advisors. This episode reinforces the importance of asking good questions in the interview process before you decide to work with a financial advisor.
