Toasting to 2024, Cindy & Andi wrap up the year with some of their favorite party pours for the holiday season. Pop & pour the varied flavors and price-point purchases we recommend for parties, holiday dinners, gifts for friends, or whatever you need to sip & savor as we cheers to 2025.
Here are the wines to find for yourself, family & friends:
- Château Garraud Pomerol 2016
- From the right bank of Bordeaux, a fuller bodied wine with wonderful complexity and flavors of blackberry, plum preserves, cherry pie, unsmoked cigar, and earthiness.
- Luc Pirlet Reserve Syrah - Mourvedre
- From the Languedoc region in France, this medium-bodied wine presents flavors of blackberry, plum, and a little spice.
- Adegamae Terras de Lisboa Red Blend
- From the Lisboa wine region of Portugal, another medium-bodied wine with flavors of strawberry, blackberry, and floral notes.
- La Grand Vigne Rosé
- From Provence, France, this light-bodied, crisp wine pours with flavors of raspberry, citrus, and melon.
- Poema Rosé Cava
- This Spanish Sparkling Rosé is made in the Cava way and perfect to toast to the holidays with delicious, crisp, fresh flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and rose petals, plus it’s best to pair with all the apps, seafood, and fresh bites!
- Poema Brut Cava
- A favorite go-to Cava, "Spanish Sparkling" wine made in the same traditional method as Champagne, a different grape but the same delicious taste of fresh, clean, citrus, mineral, and Granny Smith apple plus aromas of toasted bread notes!
- Saint Hilaire Limoux Blanc de Blanc Brut
- Feeling French? This similar sparkling brut is delicious, unique, and bespoke with an incredible story. This is Andi’s go-to sparkling for special occasions and gifts. Read the back label and know you’re in for a treat, plus you can find in many grocery stores at an incredible price you just can’t beat for any budget!
What should we pour next!?
