  • Sent by King Kansa, Demon Trinavarta wished to end Lord Krishna’s life. Trinavarta was a very strong demon and could even take the form of storms whenever he wished. When Lord Krishna realized that Trinavarta had arrived in Gokul, he was in the lap of Yashoda. With his divine powers, he made himself so heavy that Yashoda got tired of holding him. She left him there and went inside briefly to attend to some other household work.

    Meanwhile, Trinavat took the form of a massive storm and lifted Little Krishna. Lord Krishna suddenly made himself very heavy again, so much so that the demon could not carry him anymore. Then Krishna held Trunavat’s neck and put an end to his life.
