Who Do I Belong To? is a book about the experiences of a young boy who was born into chaotic love. The same loving family forced to decide between life and the deadly perils of addiction before he could even be swaddled correctly set the tone for what was to come.
Who Do I Belong To? tells the tale of both mother and child as they both experienced their challenges. His leading from his grandparents' home into foster care and hers leading from being a victim of rape, the unpredictability of street life, and the doldrums of prison. Who knew that the power of words, poetry, hip-hop, art and the prayers of family and ancestors would grant each of them their pathways to survival and self-discovery. Not even death can slow down growth.
