The Gospel of Nicodemus, formerly known as The Acts of Pontius Pilate, is an apocryphal gospel claimed to have been derived from an original Hebrew work written by Nicodemus and found in the hall of Pontius Pilate among the public records. It is paraphrased here in contemporary English as the original translation is often tedious for many readers of today and the complete work difficult to find. There are many who consider this text to be a fictional account. Even so, it is well worth listening to and whether one chooses to listen to this text with the authority of a scriptural account or classify it among the inspirational and fictional writings of authors like C.S. Lewis and John Bunyan, The Gospel of Nicodemus is sure to elicit heartfelt joy and shouts of Halleluyah!
