Imagine the poets Wallace Stevens and Anne Sexton meet in a bar owned by Michael Robbins. The result might just be News In A New World, the first published collection of poems by Tamara Tifareth. Jarringly profound, hilarious, and offensive, highly topical, always insightful, the poems combine a strong lyrical quality with a narrator's capacity for storytelling.
