Kiera welcomes the distraction from dealing with the return of her long-lost mother and unsettling realizations about the men in her life. Despite Detective Wallace’s objections, Sid and Kiera end up deep in the murder investigation and work together to sort through conflicting evidence and multiple motives to unravel the mystery.
