このコンテンツについて
Little Steps and the Quest for the 3 Symbols is a magical fairy tale set in ancient Egypt in the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut.
The hero of the story is a ten-year-old Egyptian boy called Little Steps, who sets out on the quest to find and unite the 3 symbols of ancient Egypt–the Staff, the Flail and the Crook. On his quest he is joined by his three extraordinary friends: Red Brick, the Giant, Axiom, the Centaur and Lapis, the Vulture.
The quest takes the four friends from Buhen, in the very south of Egypt all the way to Giza in the north before the story finale in Deir-el-Bahari.
Pharaoh Hatshepsut plays a pivotal role in the story. After initiating Little Steps into the ancient tradition of the Quest for the 3 Symbols, she tells him they will meet three times more on his quest, at the end of the search for each of the symbols.
Each stage involves different challenges and adventures. On the journey the friends encounter a host of magical characters including Safe Space, Crossroads, Needles & Pins, Professor Zero, Spectrum, the Oracle, Pharaoh Hatshepsut herself and complete with their own song–the Dung Beetles.
This story is told in 3 parts. In this first part, you will get to meet Little Steps and his friends as they set out in their quest to win the first symbol–the Staff.
Combining traditional myth, historical sites, folklore, and pure imagination, the Quest for the 3 Symbols is a timeless coming-of-age classic for every generation–a story of friendship, loyalty, self-discovery, and life itself!
The tale is entirely written in Haiku, a form of Japanese poetry, which adds to the magic and wonder of the tale by providing a lyrical framework.
