あらすじ・解説
This is the fifth book in the Awaken Series by Tonny Rutakirwa released on 25th March 2015.
This audiobook Faith in Action presents information based on the works by numerous personalities including philosophers, researchers, Biblical references, and personal experience of the author.
The content covered manifests scholarly in-depth effort that presents the listeners the opportunity to engage in self-reflection in order to make any appropriate choices. This could be in terms of conducting further research or embracing the aspects the individual may find acceptable; Tonny’s views bring out his personality as an individual on search of intellectual excellence. The views presented leave the listener the obligation to test out the principles of sharpening one’s faith. The style of writing applying humor on the scenes of his personal experience leave an inscribed portion of memory that makes learning natural and enjoyable.
Some of the practical aspects covered border on putting faith in action, overcoming fear, working on faith through acts of love; faith and developing a positive mindset; faith and the obligation of work; and the concept of reason and faith. My personal observation on faith as a Christian hinges on biblical authority which features clearly that “through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3). This provides a framework of assigning accountability for our beliefs, actions, and entire being to God which includes putting to action our divinely - ordained gifts to serve mankind and God. Faith also prepares us to manage the risks and odds of life.
Faith in Action as a piece of work will equip the listener with the capability to critique, refine, and reshape personal views and those of others which is an excellent way of inculcating the character traits of tolerating others’ opinions, no matter how much they differ from own philosophy. In the end both the author and listener evolve learning capabilities which influences the choices we make, the philosophy we adopt, and the mindset we embrace for an enhanced lifestyle.
