The Sacred Victim’s Journey - Transforming Pain Into Empowerment With Miriam Pires
In this episode of A Soulful Rebellion, I sit down with Miriam Perez as she shares her powerful journey—growing up in a high-control cult and ultimately finding her voice as an advocate for personal empowerment and healing. Together, we explore the complexities of navigating trauma, the difficult path of leaving a toxic environment, and the idea of the sacred victim’s journey as a way to reclaim dignity and strength after abuse.
I also reflect on my own experiences and offer insights into what it means to move from victimhood to empowerment and self-love. I talk about the importance of recognizing our wholeness, even in the aftermath of trauma, and why unconditional self-love is a radical and necessary act. Reclaiming our narrative around victimhood is not just healing—it’s liberating.
Throughout our conversation, I emphasize how societal constructs can hold us back from fully healing and how shifting our perspective can help us see our strength and resilience. We also talk about the essential role of community, support, and personal practices in the ongoing journey of healing.
