James stood nervously outside a cozy café, the kind where the smell of freshly brewed coffee mingled with the sound of quiet conversation. He glanced at his watch, tapping his foot in anticipation. James shared snippets of his past as a musician in a local band, The Mingles, who used to play gigs in these very streets. He pointed out venues and pubs where they’d performed, his voice filled with nostalgia. Jackie listened intently, impressed by the life James had led
