In episode 4 of NewLifeCast, Joseph and Jerra interview Pastor Brian Hagerman. "Before the foundation of the church building was laid, Brian was there." (2 Genesis 4:20). Joseph gushes about the Screwtape Letters. Michelle's beta boyfriend gets annihilated by Brian (figuratively), but Brian almost loses Michelle anyways (literally)! Joseph and Jerra get hit by the fire hydrant of Brian's wisdom. And in a crescendo ending, Brian details the epic saga of leaving the church he grew up in, joining New Life, becoming a pastor, walking through the shadow of the valley of death and living to tell the tale!
